SOCIAL COMMITMENT
As a family-owned company with a long tradition, we are deeply rooted in the Ruhr region. Commitment to our region was and is an important concern for us, and our commitment to socially disadvantaged people is therefore a matter of importance.
That is why we choose to again and again donate to charitable causes for the benefit of people in the region. And in this way, we try to help where help is needed, for example by donating protective mouth-nose masks that went to helpers at the fire department and city administration, to workshops for people with significant disabilities, and to other social institutions.

DELKER HISTORY
1969 - Founded as Friedrich Delker KG by Friedrich Delker, Heinz Beyer and Karl-Heinz Meinrich.
1976 - Move to the new head office building at Manderscheidtstraße 20 in Essen-Frillendorf.
1984 - Entered the purchasing association NORDWEST Handel AG.
1988 - The future managing director Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. Georg Delker (industrial engineer) joins the company.
1995 - DELKER quality management is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001.
1998 - Introduction of e-procurement solutions.
1999 - Expansion of the site with additional offices and a new warehouse building. A new IT and e-procurement department is established.
2001 - Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. Georg Delker (industrial engineer) takes over as managing partner of Friedrich Delker GmbH & Co. KG.
2004 - BMEcat certification and first business activities with customers and suppliers in China.
2009 - Establishment of our independent company in Poland.
2012 - First edition of "Der Große Werkzeugkatalog" with 24,000 articles on more than 1000 pages.
2015 - Launch of our new online shop delker2business.com with better usability.
2017 - Establishment of our trade partner network in Europe with 7 distributors today.
2019 - Under the motto "50 Jahre DELKER – experience Power" DELKER makes its company anniversary come alive with a large performance show and 80 strong suppliers, on 75,000 m², in the VELTINS Arena, home of football team Schalke 04.
