Delker Trainees on field trip

On 1st August 2008, seven enthusiastic trainees will join Delker in the logistics, finance and sales departments. To ease their entry into working life Delker organised a weekend in Willingen in the Sauerland from 6th – 8th June so they could get to know each other.

A highly-developed sense of interconnection between members of staff is important for Delker.  As there is a strong sense of community in the company, all the new trainees should be integrated into the team from the very beginning. For this reason, Delker organised the joint weekend. Accompanied by Frau Ksenija Lovric from HR, the field trip had a strong connection to Delker: Fr. Lovric and the current trainees gave the new staff members an understanding of the company’s structure. Presentations gave the new trainees a glimpse of the various departments at Delker.

The positive feedback from this trip promises a repeat performance in 2009. Then we will say ‘Welcome’ to the next trainees!
